Visit to NATO by the President of Moldova
The President of Moldova, Vladimir Voronin, visited NATO Headquarters on 18 June for talks with NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer.

The Secretary General and President Voronin discussed the regional secuirty environment, including the CFE Treaty and the outstanding Istanbul commitments.
They also examined the state of NATO-Moldova cooperation through the Partnership for Peace, and agreed that the Alliance will step up its support for Molova's reform process.
