On 11 May, NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division organised, in the context of the public diplomacy activities for the Mediterranean Dialogue, a visit to NATO Headquarters of high-level opinion leaders from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
These distinguished personalities met with NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, with NATO’s Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy, Mr. Jean Fournet and received briefings by NATO officials on the Alliance’s transformation, the enhanced Mediterranean Dialogue, NATO military operations, scientific cooperation and military cooperation in the framework of the Mediterranean Dialogue.
