New forms of cooperation Links NATO Library Multimedia Video interview with the Chief of the NATO libary NATO has sent a whole collection of scientific books – some five thousand of them - to the library of the Ecole Polytechnique in Palaiseau near Paris. These books present the results of projects sponsored by NATO's Science Programme covering chemistry, physics and other exact and human sciences and, as such, are a testimony of the work done by NATO in the scientific field. The aim of the transfer is to make this substantial collection available to the academic world, allowing researchers to consult them. The library of the Ecole Polytechnique will take care of the books, where they will be part of a prominent collection of other scientific litterature. The transfer itself will take place on 22 July, marking the cooperation of NATO with an important institution in a NATO member country.
