President Trajkovski at NATO HQ

The President of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (1), Boris Trajkovski, addressed NATO Ambassadors during a meeting of the North Atlantic Council - NATO's top decision-making body- on 28 November.

The President briefed Lord Robertson and the 19 NATO Permanent Representatives on his country's current political situation, including the recent
parliamentary vote which has postponed elections planned, in the August Peace Accord, for 27 January until April 2002.

President Trajkovski is in Brussels, Belgium, for three days and will be meeting the EU High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy, Dr Solana, as well as the Commissioner for External Relations, Chris Patten.
