The 2001 NATO Economics Colloquium was held on
2-4 May 2001 in the Romanian capital, Bucharest,
and dealt with "The Interrelationship between
Regional Economic Cooperation, Security and Stability".
The main regions discussed were South Eastern Europe,
South Caucasus and Central Asia. Actual settings,
needs, opportunities and constraints of regional
economic cooperation in these areas were extensively
highlighted over the two days.
