20 May	The North Atlantic Council condemns Indias decision to conduct nuclear tests.
28-29 May	At the meeting of the North Atlantic Council, NATO Foreign Ministers issue a statement expressing concern over the situation in Kosovo and outline measures being taken to contain the crisis and to seek a peaceful resolution.
