12 Apr	Beginning of the NATO operation to enforce the no-fly zone over Bosnia and Herzegovina, under the authority of UN Security Council Resolution 816 and decided by the North Atlantic Council on 8 April. Fighter and surveillance aircraft from several allied nations participate, as well as aircraft from NATOs Airborne Early Warning Force (NAEWF).
