Mr. Chairman,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Distinguished Colleagues,

Let me briefly inform you that Azerbaijan is finalising a necessary preparatory work on deployment of the second platoon within Turkish Forces as its contribution of to ISAF.

We have reached an official agreement with Turkey and finalising work on the ground. In parallel, a draft document on necessary measures and practical work for this deployment is being prepared that will be signed by President of Azerbaijan and submitted to Parliament for approval as out-of-cycle activity without any delay. Upon approval Azerbaijan will notify the respective NATO Command, complete necessary procedures, and unit shortly will be leaving to mission within ISAF.
