New Editor of NATO Review

Keri Bonine
Keir Bonine (32) has been appointed Editor of NATO Review in succession to Peter Jenner who retired last October.

After studies at the University of Washington (Seattle), and L'Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, leading to a BA in International Studies, Mr. Bonine attended the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington, DC, and in Bologna, Italy, where, in 1989, he obtained an MA in International Relations. He began his career as Project Coordinator on the Almanac of Transatlantic Politics in Washington, followed by work as a consultant for the European Community Delegation to the United States. In March 1990, he joined the US Department of Commerce as a trade policy analyst when he assisted in the implementation of a US-Japan trade agreement.

In 1991, Mr. Bonine moved to Brussels and became Editor of Business Aviation and Regional Transport, an Avianews Group monthly magazine, and also European Affairs Editor of European Avianews. From August 1992, he was Assistant Editor of NATO Review and of other publications such as the NATO Handbook.
