NATO Secretary General attends
Munich Security Conference

The NATO Secretary General will attend the Munich Security Conference on February 6-7.  On Saturday, he will participate in discussions in the main plenary session dedicated to NATO, Russia, Oil & Gas and the Middle East: The Future of European Security.

On the margins of the conference, the Secretary General will have bilateral meetings with the Afghan President Hamid Karzai and the Vice Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Sergei Ivanov.  He will also meet the US Vice President Joe Biden and the US Special Adviser for Afghanistan and Pakistan, Richard Holbrooke, as well as other dignitaries.
