NATO Deputy Secretary General
to travel to Algeria

The Deputy Secretary General of NATO, H.E. Amb. Claudio Bisogniero, will conduct an official visit  to Algeria on 16-17 June 2008.

During his visit, he will deliver a speech at the Algeria-NATO Seminar "Security through Dialogue: Role of the Parliamentary Institutions in the Enhanced Mediterranean Dialogue”, co-organised in Algiers by the NATO Public Diplomacy Division and the Algerian Senate.

The Deputy Secretary General will also hold bilateral meetings with H.E. Mourad Medelci, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Algeria, and H.E. Abdelmalek Guenaizia, Minister Delegated for Defence, to discuss the way forward in NATO-Algeria cooperation, in the framework of the Mediterranean Dialogue.
