NATO Deputy Secretary General
to travel to Egypt

The Deputy Secretary General of NATO H.E. Amb. Claudio Bisogniero will travel to Egypt on 24-25 May 2008.

He will participate in the Conference "NATO-Egypt a Dialogue", co-organised in Cairo by the NATO Public Diplomacy Division and the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs at the Diplomatic Club in Cairo.

During his visit to Egypt the Deputy Secretary Secretary General will also hold bilateral meetings to discuss the way forward in NATO-Egypt cooperation in the framework of the Mediterranean Dialogue with H.E. Abou El-Gheit Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt; Gen. Omar Soliman Director of the General Intelligence Service of Egypt and with Gen. Mohammed El-Assar Senior Advisor to the Minister of Defence of Egypt.
