NATO Secretary General to visit
Pristina and Vienna

The NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, is visiting Kosovo on Friday, 30 November 2007. During the visit, he will meet with members of the Kosovo Unity Team led by Mr. Fatmir Sejdiu, President of Kosovo. The Kosovo Unity Team also includes Prime Minister Agim Ceku, Mr. Hashim Thaci, Mr. Koli Berisha and Mr. Skander Hyseni. The Secretary General will also meet with representatives of the Kosovo Serb community. Finally, the Secretary General will have a meeting with COMKFOR, Lt. Gen. Xavier de Marnhac.

In the afternoon, the Secretary General will travel to Vienna and will attend the conference “Kosovo – Security for All”.  During the  visit the Secretary General will also have a meeting with the Austrian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms Ursula Plassnik.
