Prime Minister of Albania to visit NATO

The Prime Minister of Albania, Dr. Sali Berisha, will visit NATO Headquarters on Thursday 24 May 2007.  He will meet with the Secretary General and address the North Atlantic Council.  The bilateral meeting with the Secretary General will start with the signature of an “Exchange of Letters” on the Albanian contribution of Operation Active Endeavour.

Also during this visit, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the Facilitation of Vital Civil Cross Border Transport will be signed by the Albanian Minister of Defence in the presence of NATO Assistant Secretary General for Operations, Adam Kobieracki.
