NATO Secretary General to visit Spain 10 July 2006 News 10/07/06 - NATO Spain committed to NATO’s Afghanistan mission The NATO Secretary General, Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, will travel to Madrid on Monday, 10 July 2006. He will meet with President of the Government José Luis Rodriguez Zapatero and with Minister of Defence José Antonio Alonso. The Secretary General will also deliver a speech at the Foundation for International Relations and External Development (FRIDE) on “NATO’s projecting stability”.
