NATO Secretary General to visit Canada The Secretary General of NATO, Mr. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, will travel to Ottawa on 14 and 15 June 2006 . The Secretary General will meet with the Canadian Prime Minister, Mr. Stephen Harper, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Peter Gordon MacKay and the Minister of Defence, Mr. Gordon O’Connor. He will also meet with Members of the NATO Parliamentary Association. Moreover, the Secretary General will give a key-note speech at a luncheon hosted by the CDAI (Conference of Defence Associations Institute) at the Canadian War Museum .
