NATO assists BiH Authorities with transfer of
Dragan Zelenovic to The Hague

Today, NATO Forces working in close cooperation with Court of BiH Authorities, took custody of Dragan Zelenovic, who has been indicted by the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) for crimes, including rape and torture, in the area of Foca, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Zelenovic has been formally arrested by Representatives of ICTY and has been transferred to the custody of ICTY in The Netherlands by NATO aircraft.

This transfer of custody was undertaken in accordance with NATO’s mandate.
