NATO Secretary General to attend the Munich Conference on Security Policy The NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, will attend the Conference on Security Policy in Munich Germany , on Saturday 4 February 2006 . During his stay in Munich, he will meet with a number of officials, including German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili. The Secretary General will deliver a keynote speech in the context of the panel discussion “NATO’s future role in international peace keeping”. The Secretary General’s schedule is subject to change.
