NATO Secretary General to visit Turkey The Secretary General of NATO, Mr. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, will visit Ankara on Monday 19 December 2005. During his visit, the Secretary General will meet with the Prime Minister, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Abdullah Gül and Minister of Defence Mr. Mehmet Vecdi Gönül. The Secretary General will also address the students at Bilkent University in Ankara. The programme of the visit is subject to change.
