Press Release (2005)062 14 May 2005	Statement by the Secretary General on the situation in Uzbekistan I am deeply concerned by the current situation in Uzbekistan. All parties must exercise restraint, and the current tensions must be defused through peaceful means. The Alliance expects Uzbekistan, a member of Partnership for Peace, to honour the principles of PfP, including the peaceful resolution of conflicts.
