Annual NATO conference on “Transforming NATO – a On Thursday 14 April 2005, the Secretary General of NATO will host his annual conference, this year focusing on “Transforming NATO – a Political and Military Challenge”. This conference is organized jointly by the NATO Public Diplomacy Division, the Supreme Allied Command Transformation and the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) in London. The event will be held at the Sodehotel in Woluwe, Avenue E. Mounier 5, 1200 Brussels. Media Advisory 15.30 hrs: Press Conference with the NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, Admiral Edmund Giambastiani, Supreme Allied Commander Transformation and General James Jones, Supreme Allied Commander Europe (Press Conference Room) . Although accreditation for this press conference will be done on site, we would be grateful if journalists could inform us in advance of their intention to attend (Tel: 02/707 37 94). Journalists are requested to enter the hotel via the Main Lobby where the accreditation desk will be located. The conference site offers sufficient parking space.
