Meeting of the North Atlantic Council
at the level of Foreign Ministers,
preceded by an informal
NATO-European Union Working Luncheon
at the level of Foreign ministers,

Information

A meeting of the North Atlantic Council at the level of Foreign Ministers will be held at NATO Headquarters from 14:30 to 16:00 hours on Thursday, 3 April 2003.

It will be preceded by an informal NATO-EU working luncheon at the level of Foreign Ministers from 12:00 to 14:00 hours.

Accreditation

Media representatives will be accredited at the Main site entrance of NATO Headquarters on presentation of a valid press card and valid photographic proof of identity. NATO-accredited journalists need not request special accreditation. Media representatives are advised that NATO security will examine and may test equipment and personal effects carried onto the site. Time should be allowed for security checks.

Parking

Media representatives are advised that they will not be allowed to park their vehicles inside the NATO compound ; they will be allowed to park on the « East » and « West » parking areas, just outside NATO’s Main site entrance. Outside broadcasting vans will park in the dedicated area of parking « East ».

12:00 -14:00 Informal NATO-EU ministerial working lunch
14:10 NATO Main entrance. Point de presse by the EU Presidency, the EU High Representative and the NATO Secretary General. Coverage from roped-off area on first-come, first-served basis. Subject to confirmation.
14:30 Opening of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) meeting.
Brief photo opportunity covered by restricted pool of visual media.
16:15 Press Theatre. NATO Secretary General’s news conference followed by other news conferences and press briefings. Unrestricted coverage.
