Summit Meetings Prague, Czech Republic, 21-22 November 2002 Second Media Advisory 1. Information Meetings at the of Heads of State and Government level of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) and between NATO and Heads of State and Government of Partner Countries will be held in Prague on 21-22 November 2002. The meetings will take place in the Prague Congress Centre
(PCC). 2. Accreditation The initial deadline for submitting requests for accreditation was 8 November, 2002. No additional requests will be accepted as of 9:00 a.m. Sunday, 17 November. The accreditation cards will be available for collection beginning 15 November, from the Accreditation Centre located on:

An ID card or passport as well as press card (or letter of accreditation from a recognized media organization) will be required for accreditation pick-up. 3. Security Checks All media representatives are informed that security personnel at the Media Centre will examine and may test equipment and personal effects carried onto the site. To avoid delays, media representatives are requested to arrive well in advance in order to clear the security checks. Television or radio broadcasters, wire services and photo agencies with bulky equipment are urged to move most of it into the Media Centre as early as possible (please see the Media Centre opening hours below). An ID and accreditation card should be worn visibly at all times during the summit proceedings and must be shown at anytime upon request by security personnel. 4. Media Centre The Media Centre staffed by NATO and Czech personnel will be located in the Prague Congress Centre. Media Centre Opening Hours The Broadcasting Centre for TV and Radio will be open from 17 November in order to allow technicians to move in and set up all the equipment.
The Media Centre will be equipped with adequate workspace, communication and transmission facilities. Telephones will be card activated. Television and radio offices will be made available upon request in advance to the host broadcasters Czech Television and Czech Radio. 5. News Conferences and Press Briefings All news conferences and press briefings will take place in the Prague Congress Centre 6. 9. Media Programme and Pools The final media programme of the summit will be provided upon accreditation. Media events will begin on 20 November 2002. Pool cards for media organisations from NATO and EAPC countries will be distributed by Press Liaison Officers of Delegations.
