A Workshop on Social and Psychological Consequences of Chemical, Biological and Radiological Terrorism
Brussels, 25 - 27 March 2002

The NATO Science Programme will sponsor an Advanced Research Workshop on "Social and Psychological Consequences of Chemical, Biological and Radiological Terrorism". The workshop will take place in the NATO Headquarters in Brussels from 25 to 27 March and will be co-directed by invited experts from the United Kingdom (Professor Simon Wessely, GTK School of Medicine and Institute of Psychiatry) and Russia (Professor Valery Krasnov, Moscow Research Institute of Psychiatry).

The workshop will be the first activity organised in the framework of the NATO-Russia scientific co-operation with the specific aim of reducing the impact of terrorism. Among the participants there will be representatives of NATO and Partner Countries, as well as from other nations.
