NATO Secretary General to visit the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia(1) The Secretary General of NATO, Lord Robertson, will visit Skopje on 8 February 2002 in the context of a round of visits to all countries aspiring to NATO membership. Progress in the Membership Action Plan will be the key theme of the Secretary General's meetings.Lord Robertson will meet with the President of the Republic, Mr. Boris Trajkovski, with the Prime Minister, Mr. Ljubco Georgievski, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Slobodan Casule and with the Minister of Defence, Mr. Vlado Popovski. Lord Robertson will also meet with the Speaker and Members of Parliament. This visit was originally scheduled to take place on 18 January. It had to be postponed due to heavy fog at the Skopje airport that day. The Secretary General's schedule is subject to change.
