A U.S. team, led by Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Marc
Grossman and Deputy National Security Adviser Steve Hadley, will be at
NATO tomorrow consulting with the allies on missile defense. President
George Bush presented his missile defense proposal in a speech last week,
and promised such consultations.
Under Secretary Grossman will make a brief statement upon arrival at
NATO tomorrow morning around 8:30. At the conclusion of the North Atlantic
Council meeting, expected to end around 12:30, he will make another statement
and answer a few questions.
