Statement by the Secretary General of NATO, Lord Robertson, on the death of EUMM Monitors I have learned with great sadness of the tragic death of the three European Union Monitoring Mission members in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. KFOR has provided assistance in the aftermath of this deplorable incident. I join EU High Representative Solana in offering my sincerest condolences to the families of the victims of this accident. NATO will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with the EU, the government in Skopje and the rest of the international community in contributing to the peaceful resolution of the crisis in the region.
