Ministers Meetings SECOND MEDIA ADVISORY
1. Information Meetings at Foreign Ministers level of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) and between NATO Foreign Ministers and the Foreign Ministers of Partner Countries will be held in Budapest on 29-30 May 2001 . The meetings will take place in the Budapest Convention Centre(BCC) which is located in Buda. The media centre will be located in the Cultural Centre of the Twelfth District Municipality building, 1124, Budapest Csörsz u.18, within walking distance of the BCC. 2. Accreditation and security checks Applications for accreditation should be made before 18 May 2001, using the attached form which should be returned to the following addresses:
A letter of recommendation with the official stamp of the news organisation and signed by the editor should be attached to the request for accreditation form. Press passes previously applied for will be available for collection from 12.00 hours on Saturday, 26 May at the Media Accreditation Centre, located in the Cultural Centre of the Twelfth District Municipality building, 1124, Budapest Csörsz u.18. An ID card or passport and a press card (or letter of accreditation from a recognized media organization) should be presented and must be shown at any time upon request of security personnel. All media representatives are informed that security personnel at the Media Centre will examine and may test equipment and personal effects carried onto the site. To avoid delays, media representatives are requested to arrive with sufficient time to clear the security checks. Television or radio broadcasters, wire services and photo agencies with bulky equipment are particularly urged to move most of it into the Media Centre as early as possible. 3. Media centre The Media Centre staffed by NATO and Hungarian personnel will be located in the Cultural Centre of the Twelfth District Municipality building, Opening hours for the Media Centre are:
The Media Centre will be equipped with adequate workspace, communications and transmission facilities. Television and radio offices will be made available upon request to the host broadcasters, Hungarian Television and Hungarian Radio. The processing of special orders for
services may be speeded up by sending

to use their own means of transportation
to and from the airport. Please check with the nearest Hungarian embassy or consulate regarding visa requirements. 6. Accommodation Media representatives are advised
to book their hotel rooms as soon

Currency exchange is available throughout the downtown area. 7. Programme and pools The final programme of the meeting will be provided upon accreditation.
