NATO offers condolences on submarine loss The Secretary General of NATO, Lord Robertson of Port Ellen has learned with great sadness that there is no more hope for the lives of the crew of the "Kursk". He expressed, in a telegram to President Putin, his deepest condolences at the terrible loss that Russia has suffered and offered his heartfelt sympathy to the families stricken by this tragic incident.
