NATO Secretary General, Dr. Javier Solana, to visit Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (1) and Bosnia-Herzegovina

The Secretary General of NATO, Dr. Javier Solana, will be visit the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (1) and Bosnia-Herzegovina, on Thursday, 18 February 1999. He will be accompanied by SACEUR, General Wesley K. Clark.

In FYROM (1), the Secretary General will meet the President, Mr. Kiro Gligorov, the Prime Minister, Ljubco Georgievski, and the Minister of Defence, Mr. Nikola Kljusev. The Secretary General will visit the NATO Extraction Force headquarters in Kumanovo.

In Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Secretary General will meet with the members of the Presidency, the High Representative, Ambassador Carlos Westendorp, COMSFOR, General Montgomery C. Meigs, and representatives of international organizations.
