NATO Secretary General
to Visit Bosnia-Herzegovina and Albania
The Secretary General of NATO, Dr. Javier Solana, will be making an official visit to Sarajevo and Tirana on 1-3 July. During his visit to Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Secretary General will open a NATO Information Seminar and will be meeting with the High Representative, Mr. Carlos Westendorp; other Senior civilian and military officials; members of the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina; opposition political leaders, and representatives of the international organizations.
During his trip to Albania, the Secretary General will have talks with the President, Rexhep Mejdani; the Prime Minister, Mr. Fatos Nano; and the Foreign and Defence Ministers, Mr. Paskal Milo and Mr. Luan Hajdaraga. Dr. Solana will be visiting as well, for the first time, the NATO PfP Cell in Tirana opened since 1 June.
