Joint statement by the Secretary General of NATO and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia. The Secretary General of NATO, Mr. Javier Solana and the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Yevgeni Primakov held negotiations in Moscow on 13 and 14 May. Decisive progress was reached on key issues of the NATO/Russia document, including its military aspects. The agreed text will be submitted for consideration to the NATO Governments through the North Atlantic Council, and to President Yeltsin.
