NATO Secretary General to visit United Kingdom Information The Secretary General of NATO, Dr. Javier Solana, will pay a visit to the United Kingdom on Tuesday, 4 March 1997. During his visit, he will meet with the Prime Minister, the Foreign Secretary, the Minister of Defence and with the Leader of the Opposition and his Spokesmen for Foreign Affairs and Defence. He will also give a speech at the Royal Institute of International Affairs.
