NATO Secretary General to visit Central and Eastern Europe The Secretary General of NATO, Dr. Javier Solana, will be making official visits to Central and Eastern Europe in April and the beginning of May. Between Monday, 15 April, and Friday, 19 April, he will go to Ukraine, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, and Hungary. Between Monday, 29 April, and Friday, 3 May, Dr. Solana will visit the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Albania, Bulgaria, and Romania. During his visits, the NATO Secretary General will meet with the Heads of State and Government, the Ministers for Foreign Affairs, the Ministers of Defence, and leading Members of Parliament of the above mentioned countries.
