Visit by the President of Estonia, Mr. Lennart Meri, to NATO on 27 March 1996 Information The President of Estonia, Mr. Lennart Meri, will come to NATO Headquarters on 27 March 1996 to meet the Secretary General. The visit will begin at 9:30. President Meri' departure is expected at around 10:55. MEDIA ADVISORY Programme of the visit 9:25 NATO main entrance. Arrival of President Meri. Open coverage on a first-come, first-served basis. 9:30 Bilateral meeting with the Secretary General in the Private Office. In view of the limited space available, only a restricted pool will be authorized to cover the beginning of the meeting. 10:00 Room 1: North Atlantic Council Session. Introductory remarks by the Secretary General and the Dean of the North Atlantic Council, followed by reply by President Meri. Coverage within the conference room by a restricted pool. 10:45 NATO main entrance. Meeting with the press. Departure of the President of Estonia at about 10:55.
