Visit by the President of Poland, Mr. Aleksander Kwasniewski, to NATO Headquarters on 17 January 1996 INFORMATION The president of Poland, Mr. Aleksander Kwasniewski, will come to NATO Headquarters on 17 January 1996 to meet the Secretary General, Mr. Javier Solana, and the North Atlantic Council. The visit will begin at 13:30. President Kwasniewski's departure is expected at 16:10. MEDIA ADVISORY PROGRAMME OF THE VISIT 13:30 : NATO main entrance. Arrival of President Kwasniewski. Open coverage on a first-come, first served basis. 13:35 : Lunch with the Secretary General in the Secretary General's dining room. No coverage. 15:00 : Room 1 : North Atlantic Council Session. Introductory remarks by the Secretary General and the Dean of the North Atlantic Council, followed by reply by President Kwasniewski. Coverage within the conference room by a restricted pool. 16:00 : NATO main entrance. Meeting with the press. Open coverage on a first-come, first-served basis. Departure of the President at about 16:10.
