       VISIT BY THE FOREIGN MINISTER OF RUSSIA,
     MR. ANDREI KOZYREV, TO NATO ON 22 JUNE 1994

INFORMATION

The Foreign Minister of Russia, Mr. Andrei Kozyrev, will
come to NATO Headquarters on 22 June 1994 to sign the
Partnership for Peace Framework Document.  He will meet
the Deputy Secretary General and members of the North
Atlantic Council.  The visit will begin at 10:25. 
Mr. Kozyrev's departure is expected at 12.45.

PROGRAMME OF THE VISIT

10:25 -   NATO main entrance.  Arrival of Mr. Kozyrev. 
Open coverage on a first-come, first-served basis.

10:30 -   Bilateral meeting with the Deputy Secretary
General in the Private Office. In view of the limited
space available, only a restricted pool will be
authorized to cover the beginning of the meeting.

11:00 -   Room 16:  North Atlantic Council Session. 
Introductory remarks by the Deputy Secretary General,
followed by Mr. Kozyrev's reply.  Signing of Partnership
for Peace Framework Document by the Russian Foreign
Minister. Open coverage from the balcony (1).  

Restricted pool coverage inside the the table during
first three minutes.

12:15 -   Josef Luns Press Theatre.  Joint news
conference by Deputy Secretary General and Russian
Foreign Minister in the Joseph Luns Press Theatre. Open
coverage.

12:45 -   Departure of Mr. Kozyrev.


(1)       Journalists wishing to cover the introductory
remarks and the signing of the PFP Framework Document
should board the bus as the press entrance at 10:30.
                        

ACCREDITATION

Journalists wishing to cover the visit of the Foreign
Minister of Russia will be allowed into the NATO premises
on presentation of a NATO accreditation pass or a valid
press pass. Photographers and cameramen wishing to be
part of the Restricted Pool should contact Mr. G. De
Brouwer.

PARKING

Correspondents are advised that they will not be able to
bring vehicles into the NATO compound but that a shuttle
bus service will be provided between the car-park outside
the NATO main gate and the NATO Press Service entrance.
