Chapter 8: Consumer Logistics
Consumer Logistics Committee Structure
804. Committees in NATO are often also called
Conferences, Boards, Groups or Panels. There is no real difference in
the meaning of these titles and all committees have the same
basic organization:
- a chairman, normally a senior official of the
NATO headquarters concerned;
- members representing the nations;
- representatives from the immediate superior or
subordinate NATO headquarters;
- representatives from other parts of the NATO
organization whose opinion or advice may be required; and
- a secretary, normally provided by the same element as
the chairman.
