NATO Secretary General welcomes US Congress Delegation to NATO headquarters

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg welcomed a US Congressional Delegation to NATO headquarters on Friday (20 May 2022), thanking the lawmakers for the strong and bipartisan commitment of the United States to NATO, as demonstrated by both chambers of Congress. The delegation included Senate and House committee chairs Senator Patrick Leahy, Senator Bob Menendez and Congressman Richard Neal, along with 13 other distinguished Democratic and Republican senators and representatives.

Deputy Secretary General opens first International Conference on Cyber Diplomacy, Building Global Digitalization

On Tuesday (17 May 2022), NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoană gave an opening address to the first International Conference on Cyber Diplomacy hosted by the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest, in partnership with the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In his address, he praised the valued contributions Romania has made to the Alliance, and the way the country has been “diligently implementing the NATO cyber defence pledge”.
