Floods in Slovenia - Request for international assistance

Severe weather conditions persist in Slovenia with rivers still overflowing across the country. The Sava River is flooding heavily. The Drava River is stable in its upper reaches and is moderating in its lower reaches. The Mura River stabilized in Gornja Radgona, but reports indicate embarkments were breached near the settlements of Krapje Verzej. The situation is closely monitored. The Krka River is overflowing in exposed areas and its water level continues to rise.
