Georgian Minister visits NATO

The Georgian Deputy Prime Minister and State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Mr. Giorgi Baramidze visited NATO and met with the Secretary General. They discussed Georgia’s reform progress in the context of Georgia’s first Annual National Programme (ANP).

Mr. Baramidze also addressed the NATO-Georgia Commission (NGC). He was accompanied by  First Deputy Foreign Minister Mr. Giorgi Bokeria and First Deputy Defence Minister Mr. Nikoloz Vashakidze. 

Allies commended Georgia’s reform efforts and reiterated NATO’s commitment to continue support for Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations. Allies also expressed appreciation for Georgia’s contribution to NATO’s ISAF  operation in Afghanistan
