NATO Headquarters International Staff Brussels

Employment at NATO IS

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The NATO International Staff has transitioned to a new online recruitment system.

Candidates should view, and apply for vacancies, in the online recruitment system by clicking “Current Vacancies of the International Staff

How to apply?

Candidates must apply for a specific vacancy advertised on the online recruitment platform. Although candidates have the opportunity to create a general profile on this platform, only applications to advertised vacancies will be taken into consideration.

After having submitted their application though the online recruitment platform, candidates will receive an acknowledgement of receipt. In the absence of this acknowledgement, candidates are encouraged to verify that the email address they have entered in their profile is correct. If a candidate still encounters problems receiving an acknowledgement of receipt, they can contact the NATO IS Recruitment Service at the following email address: recruitment@hq.nato.int

Before beginning the application process, candidates will need to have an e-mail address in order to set up a user account. Once registered, candidates will receive a confirmation by e-mail of your user account details and can then proceed with the application.

All applications must be completed in either English or French. Applications completed in other languages will not be taken into consideration. Candidates do not need to enter all information in one session. They can save their details at any point and return to complete the application at a later time by logging on their user account and clicking on “Submit my application” before the deadline (midnight Central European Time). Once they have submitted their application, they will not be able to make any changes.

We advise candidates not to wait until the last moment to submit their application.

The NATO HQ Recruitment Office handles applications to join the International Staff of NATO in Brussels only. Any requests for information about other NATO bodies or agencies, or applications for positions there, must be sent directly to the NATO Body concerned.

If you wish to apply for an internship, the Young Professionals Programme, temporary employment or as freelance interpreter, please click on the appropriate link.

NB: Candidates will only be considered for staff vacancies that are currently open and that they specifically apply for.
