NATO hosts a conference on gender equality (online)

NATO is organising the conference "Gender equality and leadership: are today's leaders leading enough". The event will take place on Thursday 18 March 2021 and can be followed online. It will address the importance of women in leadership in NATO, and the need of women in leadership roles as we tackle current and future challenges.

The NATO Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Mircea Geoană will open the conference. 

The event will be hosted by Ambassador Baiba Braze, the NATO Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy, and will see the participation of Mr. David Angell, the Permanent Representative of Canada to NATO, Ms. Muriel Domenach, the Permanent Representative of France to NATO, and Mr. Miguel Fernández-Palacios, the Permanent Representative of Spain to NATO.
