NATO trains the Tunisian Navy on maritime simulators

Tunisian Navy officers improved their readiness at sea and knowledge on maritime modelling and simulation during a two-week training course held in March 2019 at the naval base La Goulette, Tunisia. The training is sponsored by the NATO Science for Peace and Security (SPS) Programme to help Tunisia modernise its defence and upgrade its maritime simulator to NATO standards and architectures.

Georgian defence minister attends multinational workshop on Non-Commissioned Officers

Levan Izoria, the Georgian Minister of Defence, opened the 3rd Multinational Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) Workshop in Tbilisi, on 19 March 2019. Entitled “Developing an Educated NCO Corps”, the event was organised by NATO’s Defence Education Enhancement Programme (DEEP) together with the Partnership for Peace Consortium.

US B-52 bombers conduct training in Europe

The U.S. Air Force has sent six B-52 long-range bombers to the United Kingdom for a series of training activities over Europe. The aircraft and over 450 airmen arrived at Royal Air Force base Fairford on Thursday (14 March 2018) from Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana.
