Application process
The call for applications for the first edition of the YPP is now closed. Please visit our website and job board in order to receive updated information about the next call for applications.
1. Confirm your eligibility
Review the eligibility criteria and make sure that you fulfill them.
2. Review the vacancy advertisements
Please read carefully the vacancy advertisements you are interested in and verify that your educational background and professional experience fulfill the criteria. Should you qualify for more than one position, you may submit multiple applications. However, please note that this will not increase your chances of success.
3. Create an account
To submit an application, you must first create an account in NATO’s e-recruitment system, which can be accessed here. Please click on “Sign In” in the upper right corner. You will be directed to a page where you can create a “New User”.
Please note that we do not accept applications via email.
4. Prepare your application
Select the appropriate vacancy. First, you will be asked to respond to a set of pre-screening questions, which will be followed by a section you are required to fill in with your personal and professional details. Before finishing your application, please attach a scanned copy of your diploma (in English or French), and any other document you might find relevant to substantiate your application.
5. Submit your application
Once you have reviewed all your inputs and submitted your application, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your submission. We will inform you about the results of the initial assessment during the summer period.
