Careers at NATO
Financing, Resourcing and Implementing
This section sees job offers in four categories which include finance, eg accounting, budgeting, cost analysis and related disciplines; procurement and purchasing, related to execution of NATO budgets through acquisition activities; economic affairs - a broad term covering the conduct of business and economic activities within the Alliance; and programme management, which addresses the implementation and oversight of NATO projects and programmes.
Although very distinct, all these job categories are part of various aspects of NATO and Nations' investments, operations and maintenance – from financial, cost and manpower estimates through resourcing, implementation and closure.

Agata, Principal Account Manager
As Principal Account Manager at the NATO Communications and Information (NCI) Agency, I'm responsible for portfolio management, cooperation development and demand planning activities for multi-nation customers – the NATO and partner nations forming multinational projects and organisations.
I have a fascinating job that brings together colleagues from various fields and disciplines – project management, finance, legal and subject matter expertise - to prepare, promote and execute collaborative programmes. Each customer is addressed individually taking into account the specifics of the various programmes, as well as national, regional and political caveats and contexts. Every project is based on clear requirements and a sound business case, and brought into the framework of NATO's Smart Defence and Connected Forces initiatives.
