Visit to NATO by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and the State Minister for the Reconciliation and the Civic Equality
On Wednesday, 20 September 2017, the NATO Deputy Secretary General, the Honourable Ms. Rose Gottemoeller will meet the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Mr. David Dondua, together with the State Minister for the Reconciliation and the Civic Equality, Ms. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili.

On 3 September, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) conducted another nuclear test, demonstrating again its reckless pursuit of nuclear weapons. This represents a flagrant violation of multiple UN Security Council resolutions and a major threat to the non-proliferation regime. This latest test further demonstrates an accelerating and unprecedented campaign by the DPRK of unlawful ballistic missile launches and nuclear tests.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will travel to Tallin and Tapa in Estonia on Wednesday and Thursday 6 and 7 September 2017. During his visit, he will have bilateral meetings with the Estonian President H.E. Ms. Kersti Kaljulaid, with the Prime Minister, Mr. Jüri Ratas, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Sven Mikser and with the Minister of Defence, Mr. Jüri Luik.

I strongly condemn that North Korea has conducted a sixth nuclear test today. This is yet another flagrant violation of multiple UN Security Council Resolutions, including UNSCR 2321 adopted in November 2016.
