Then we are ready to start. Welcome to all of you, it’s good to see you and as you know we are now going to have a meeting in the NATO-Georgia Commission.

And welcome to this meeting of the NATO-Georgia Commission.

Today we will review the security situation facing Georgia. Including challenges in and around the Black Sea and in the Abkhazia and South Ossetia regions of Georgia.

We will also discuss Georgia’s progress on defence reforms. Including the Strategic Defence Review.

And we will assess the implementation of the Substantial NATO Package for Georgia.

This is designed to help Georgia improve its defence capabilities and advance on its path toward NATO membership. NATO remains strongly committed to Georgia’s security and territorial integrity.

Today’s meeting is a clear signal of our commitment.

And with that, I end the public part of the meeting and I thank the media for their presence and then we will continue with the meeting in just a moment.
