Statement by the Secretary General on the Peshawar bombing

On behalf of NATO, I strongly condemn the terrible terrorist attack that took place in Peshawar. The scale of the attack, and the huge number of victims, illustrate the importance of Pakistan's ongoing fight against violent extremism. I express my condolences to the families of the many victims.
