Statement by the Secretary General on the Peshawar bombing
On behalf of NATO, I strongly condemn the terrible terrorist attack that took place in Peshawar. The scale of the attack, and the huge number of victims, illustrate the importance of Pakistan's ongoing fight against violent extremism. I express my condolences to the families of the many victims.

On behalf of all the NATO Allies, I condemn in the strongest possible terms the terrorist bombing of the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad. This grotesque attack, which has caused huge loss of life and great suffering, has no justification whatsoever.
