NATO Deputy Secretary General visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan
The NATO Deputy Secretary General, the Honourable Ms. Rose Gottemoeller will travel to Baku on Thursday, 20 September 2018.
She will have meetings with the President of the Republic, H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the First Vice-President, H.E. Ms. Mehriban Aliyeva, the Minister of Defence, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Araz Azimov.
Ms. Gottemoeller will also deliver opening remarks at the NATO/EAPC High Level Conference on Women, Peace and Security chaired by NATO Special Representative for Women Peace and Security, Ms. Clare Hutchinson.
She will also participate in the closing ceremony of the Jeyranchol NATO/PfP Trust Fund project as well as give a lecture to students of the ADA University and meet participants of the Pilot Course on the Civilian Oversight of the Armed Forces organised for the officials from Afghanistan.
